Hedmark University College


Hedmark University of Applied Sciences was a høgskole, a Norwegian state institution of higher education, in the county of Innlandet, Norway. The college's four campuses are located in Hamar, Elverum, Åmot and Stor-Elvdal. It was established 1 August 1994, and had approximately 5,250 students and 450 employees. From 1 January 2017 Hedmark University of Applied Sciences and Lillehammer University College were merged into the new institution, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.
The university was divided into four faculties: the Faculty of Health and Sports, the Faculty of Education and Natural Sciences Design, the Faculty of Forestry and Wildlife Management, and the Faculty of Business Administration, Social Sciences and Computer Science.
