Heavenly Queen Temple (Melbourne)

The Heavenly Queen Temple, in Footscray, a neighborhood of Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Australia, is a temple to the Chinese sea-goddess Mazu, the deified form of the 10th-century Fujianese girl Lin Moniang. It is Australia's largest Taoist temple and includes a statue of Mazu imported from Nanjing, China. Construction on the temple complex site was due to continue until 2019, but the main hall opened to the public in 2015.
