Haywood Oaks


Haywood Oaks is a hamlet and former civil parish, from Nottingham, now in the parish of Blidworth, in the Newark and Sherwood district, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. In 1931 the parish had a population of 17.

History

The name "Haywood Oaks" means 'Enclosed wood'. Haywood Oaks was an extra-parochial area until 1858 when it became a separate parish, on 19 February 1988 the parish was abolished and merged with Blidworth.
