Harrow Road Boyz

Harrow Road Boyz , also referred to as the Mozart gang, is a British hip hop collective and street gang from Queen's Park, London. Most members of the group are from the notorious Mozart Estate located between Queens Park and Ladbroke Grove.

History

The name 'Mozart' refers to the gangs territory, the Mozart estate between Ladbroke Grove and Queens Park. One of the earliest members out of the gang who started rapping was Ratlin. Ratlin's commercial success came with the mixtape Youngest In Charge which was released in August, 2011. He has since released numerous mixtapes including Summertime In Mexico and its sequel Summertime In Mexico 2 both of which have accumulated over one million views on YouTube. Ratlin used to play for the local football team Queens Park Rangers at 11. Rashid Kasirye of Link Up TV described Ratlin's song "Messiah" as a turning point for the company as numerous bookings started coming into the company as a video director.
Fredo was a young member of the Harrow Road Boyz under Ratlin and Rugrat, and initially, he’d never tried rapping, however when he saw rival gangs rapping and their lyrical content, he began his music career as he felt they weren't authentic, as well as to put the Harrow Road Boyz in the limelight by recording his own songs. He has achieved commercial success with numerous charted singles.
On April 2, 2020, Muscle Gotti died in a car crash in Wembley. He was involved in a police chase.

Controversy

£R

The Harrow Road Boyz and gang members of the Mozart Estate have been in an ongoing rivalry with nearby hip hop collective and gang £R whose most successful artist is C Biz. This has resulted in numerous shootings, stabbings and kidnappings amongst the groups. The rivalry has been described as to be a typical "postcode war", as South Kilburn is part of NW6 while Mozart Estate is in W9 and in the City of Westminster.

1011/CGM

Harrow Road Boyz and gang members of the Mozart estate have also been in conflict with members of the 1011/CGM gang and hip hop collective, from the Portobello area of Ladbroke Grove. This is another Postcode war as 1011 are from postcodes W10 and W11 hence the name. The most successful members of 1011 are Digga D, SavO, TY and Horrid1, the former three featuring in 1011s "Next Up" music video, one of the most watched drill music videos of 2018.
