Gus Miller


W. A. "Gus" Miller was an American football and basketball coach. He served as the head football coach at West Texas State Teachers College—now known as West Texas A&M University—from 1942 to 1946, compiling a record of 16–15. Miller was also the head basketball coach at West Texas State from 1942 to 1957, talking a mark of 197–137. His basketball teams won three Border Conference championships and made an appearance in the 1955 NCAA Basketball Tournament.
