Grosby

Grosby Footwear is an Australian footwear company. Grosby started off as a small family owned slipper company co-owned by Moishe Grosovsky and his brother-in-law Elias Baitz in 1916 under the name of Grosovsky & Baitz. The name was later changed to Grosby Manufacturing in 1919. The partnership later dissolved and Grosovsky continued to run the company. In 1930, the name changed to Grosby Slipper Co. Grosovsky's son Ralph Grosby and his brother Nathan Grosby joined the company in 1937. In 1968 Grosby became a subsidiary of Dunlop Olympics and opened a manufacturing plant in Geelong.
