Griblje
Griblje
is a
settlement
on the
left bank
of the
Kolpa River
in the
Municipality of Črnomelj
in the
White Carniola
area
of
southeastern
Slovenia
. The area is part of the
traditional region
of
Lower Carniola
and is now included in the
Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region
.
The
local church
,
south
of the main settlement, is
dedicated
to
Saint Vitus
and
belongs to
the
Parish
of
Podzemelj
. It was first mentioned in written
documents
dating
to 1526, but the current
building
dates
to
the 18th century
.
