Global Records


Global Records is a Romanian record label launched in 2008 by businessman Ștefan Lucian. As of 2018, they have produced a number of hits on Romania's music charts. Global Records is part of the Global Entertainment platform, which includes, in addition to the record label, the booking agency Global Booking and the marketing influencer agency Global Influencers. The label has signed artists such as Inna which has been deemed "one of Romania's biggest exports" by The Guardian. In January 2020, Romanian Television announced that they would collaborate with the label for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, yielding in Roxen being selected to represent Romania in the contest. However, the event was eventually cancelled due to the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019. Roxen was nonetheless internally selected for the 2021 contest.
