Germany at the 2020 Summer Paralympics


Germany will be participating at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021. This will be their sixteenth consecutive appearance at the Summer Paralympics since 1960.

Archery

Germany collected one quota place at the 2019 Para Archery World Championships held in Den Bosch, Netherlands.

Athletics

, Niko Kappel, Felix Streng, Markus Rehm, Felix Streng, Sebastian Dietz, Katrin Mueller-Rottgardt, Irmgard Bensusan, Frances Herrmann and Birgit Kober are among the athletes to represent Germany in athletics.

Germany is scheduled to compete in cycling at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

Equestrian

Germany qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after reaching 1st place in the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games.

Germany's men's team qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after winning the silver medal in the 2018 World Goalball Championships.

Shooting

Swimming

Four German swimmers are qualified to compete in swimming at the 2020 Summer Paralympics via the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships slot allocation method.
