Georges Raymond

Capitaine Georges Raymond was a World War I flying ace credited with five aerial victories.
Raymond scored his first four victories flying a Spad VII, then switched to a Spad XIII for his fifth. He scored his first win on 25 September 1916, his last on 26 February 1918, and had two unconfirmed claims along the way. He was promoted to Capitaine in May, and rose to command the squadron. He surrendered command of Escadrille 3 on 3 September because he was incapacitated with pneumonia. He died in hospital on 4 October 1918.
