George W. Hewlett High School George W. Hewlett High School is a four-year public high school in Hewlett, New York . Located in the Five Towns area of Long Island , it is the only high school in the Hewlett-Woodmere Public School District . As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,043 students and 90.3 classroom teachers, for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1.
