Her first film that she acted in was Merku Thodarchi Malai, which had a delayed release in 2018. She landed the role after Vijay Sethupathi, the producer of the film saw her picture on Facebook. In the film, she played the wife of the lead character. However, Joker released before Merku Thodarchi Malai.
