Gaon Social Chart

Gaon Social Chart, part of Gaon Music Chart, is a weekly chart which ranks the top 50 South Korean musical artists according to their popularity from data based on the digital platforms V Live, Mubeat, SMR, and Mycelebs.
The chart launched in July 2013 and originally ranked the top 100 South Korean songs according to their worldwide popularity on social networking sites. From July 15, 2013 to June 22, 2014, data was taken from YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Me2day. After Me2day closed, data was taken from YouTube, Twitter and Facebook until Facebook was replaced by Weibo on July 6. YinYueTai was added in February 2016 and Weibo was removed in July 2017.
On July 19, 2019, the Korea Music Content Association announced the chart's re-organization into an artist-oriented chart.
As of February 2017, the song with the most weeks at number one is "TT" by Twice and the artist with the most weeks at number one is BTS.
