Ganaveh County


Ganaveh County is a county in Bushehr Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Bandar Ganaveh. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 82,937, in 17,701 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Rig District. The county has two cities: Bandar Rig and Bandar Ganaveh. Abū-Saʿīd Jannābī, the founder of the Qarmatian state, was from Ganaveh.The people of Ganaveh speak Luri language.
