Gallus

constellation
introduced in
1612
by
Petrus Plancius
.
It was in the
northern
part of what is now
Puppis
. It was not
adopted
in the
atlases
of
Johannes Hevelius
,
John Flamsteed
and
Johann Bode
and
fell
into disuse.
