Gabriela DeBues-Stafford
Gabriela Maria DeBues-Stafford is a Canadian middle-distance runner. She competed in the 1500 metres at the 2016 World Indoor Championships. In addition, she won the silver medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade.
Her father, James Stafford, was also a runner and competed for Canada at four World Cross Country Championships. In July 2016 she was officially named to Canada's Olympic team..
In 2019, she broke numerous national records: the indoor mile and 5,000 metre records; the outdoor 1,500 metre, mile and 5,000 metre records. She added the indoor 1,500 metre record in 2020.Competition record
