Fucoidan


Fucoidan is a sulfated polysaccharide found mainly in various species of brown algae and brown seaweed such as mozuku, kombu, bladderwrack, wakame, and hijiki.

Fucoidins have been investigated in preclinical studies for anti-oxidant, cognitive protective, anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic, anti-cancer, anti-viral, and anti-hyperglycemic activity.
