Fred Kendall


Fred Kendall is an American former professional baseball player and coach. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball from to for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, and the Boston Red Sox.

Baseball career

Kendall was born in Torrance, California. In 1973 he was voted Most Valuable Padre after setting career high marks in batting average and in home runs.
Kendall managed the South Bend Silver Hawks, a Chicago White Sox affiliate in the Midwest League, in 1995 and was a Kansas City Royals bull pen coach.
