Fred Graham (correspondent)


Fred Patterson Graham was an American journalist who served as chief anchor and managing editor of the former Court TV.
Graham was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from West End High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Graham served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956. He later received a B.A. from Yale University in 1953, an LL.B. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1959, and a Diploma of Law from Oxford University in 1960. Graham practiced law in Nashville, Tennessee from 1960 to 1963.
He worked as a legal correspondent for The New York Times from 1965 to 1972, and then as a legal correspondent for CBS News from 1972 to 1987. He received a Peabody Award in 1974.
