Biography

Author Frank Matthews is a native of Brooklyn, New York. Matthews categorizes his own work as "true fiction," fictional takes on factual events. Matthews self-published his first novel, Respect the Jux. Over 20,000 copies of the book were sold, leading to publisher Simon & Schuster releasing the book in September 2010.
In September 2010, director F. Gary Gray bought the TV and film rights to Respect The Jux.
