Frances Noyes Hart


Frances Newbold Noyes Hart was an American writer whose short stories were published in Scribner's magazine, the Saturday Evening Post, the Ladies' Home Journal.

Biography

She was born as Frances Newbold Noyes on August 10, 1890 to Frank Brett Noyes and Janet Thurston Newbold. During World War I, she served as a translator with the Navy and as a canteen worker in France. She married lawyer Edward H. Hart in 1921. She died in 1943.
