Food and Beverage Association of America


The Food and Beverage Association of America is a not for profit, philanthropic, trade organization for executives of the food and beverage industries of the New York metropolitan area.

History

It was established in 1956/1957 by six New York hotel banquet, food, and beverage managers met. Keith Glenn, Herman Nerz, Oscar Gabler, Joseph Sanady, Charles Frowenfeld and Bernie Heffler exchanged information, meeting monthly, that might be helpful to each. New individuals joined including Jerry Parkey, Jerry Horvath, and Ivan Brent. After 2 years of meeting, membership was up to 30 people.
