Ferrari 246 F1-66


The Ferrari 246 F1-66 was a racing car used by Scuderia Ferrari and Reg Parnell Racing during the 1966 Formula One season. It was used in a total of 4 races by 3 drivers, achieving a second and a third place. It was used during the season alongside the Ferrari 312. The design and dimensions of the car were almost identical to the Ferrari 158, except for the bigger 2.4-litre engine; the chassis type used on both models was also the same. The power output was at 8500 rpm. The same engine, but with four valves, will see further use in the Dino 246 Tasmania.
