Fastway Couriers is a courier delivery services corporation headquartered in Napier, New Zealand. The company currently operates in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Northern Ireland and South Africa.
The company has operated as a franchise since 1983, with franchising at the regional and courier level. The company was acquired by Aramex in 2016. Aramex is in the top five of transport and logistics players globally.
As part of the acquisition by Aramex, Fastway is in the transition of rebranding to Aramex in select regions such as Australia and New Zealand.
Fastway Couriers has always received negative and unfavourable reports in the way it treats is staff and in 2020 was forced to pay an employee almost 12 years holiday pay.
With over 10,000 1-star reviews as of April 2020 and numerous abuse, employee and franchisee court cases, Fastway Couriers ranks as one of the worst courier services in Australasia.
Fastway couriers are also considered to be Ireland's worst courier company, with 90% of reviewers giving them a 1 star rating.
