Fardeen Khan


Fardeen Khan is a former Indian film actor. He is the recipient of a Filmfare Award and is the son of the late actor, director, and film producer Feroz Khan.
After graduating in business management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Khan returned to India to pursue his career in films and trained in acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. He made his acting debut in 1998 with a leading role in the romance Prem Aggan, which garnered him the Filmfare Best Debut Award. Khan rose to prominence with starring roles in the acclaimed thriller Jungle, the crime comedy Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, the drama Om Jai Jagadish, the supernatural horror Bhoot, the romance Janasheen, and the comedies No Entry, Heyy Babyy, Life Partner, and . He earned critical recognition for his performances in the 2001 thriller Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, the 2004 drama Dev, the 2004 romantic thriller Fida, and the 2005 crime thriller Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. He is referred by many as Bollywood's "most handsome actor".
In addition to acting in films, he has participated in concert tours and stage shows. In May 2001, Khan was arrested for attempting to buy cocaine.

Early life and background

Fardeen Khan was born on 8 March 1974 in Mumbai. He is the son of the Bollywood actor, director, and producer Feroz Khan. By caste he is Tanoli. He is Sindhi from his mother's side. His sister is Laila Khan. Fardeen is the nephew of actors Sanjay Khan and Akbar Khan. He is the cousin of Suzanne Khan and actor Zayed Khan.

Personal life

Fardeen Khan is married to Natasha Madhvani, Mumtaz's daughter, with whom he has a daughter, Diani, and son, Azarius. Their wedding took place on 14 December 2005 in Mumbai.
In 2010, after his last starring role, Fardeen took a hiatus from the movie business in order to focus on his family. He has since stated that he is looking at getting back into the industry.
