Evi Reçi


Evi Reçi is an Albanian singer, journalist and a TV & Radio Host.

Early life

Evi was born on April 30, 1990 in Durres, Albania, and grew up in Athens, Greece. She developed a love for music in the early years of childhood when she was exposed to by her mother, who is a professional performer and instructor of the violoncello. Her father is a biochemist.
Evi has studied classical piano and lyrical singing. While in Greece, she participated in various music activities, mainly as a soloist singer, a pianist, and as part of a choir. She also graduated from the school of modeling and held many positions as a professional model.
Throughout her professional career, Evi has collaborated with various famous composers such as Adrian Hila and Flori Mumajesi, to mention a few.
Evi's participation in the show Top Fest 4 gave her song "Me Ty Pa Ty" a place in the top 10 songs of the festival. In 2007, she participated in "Kenga Magjike" where she was nominated the title of Best Dance Song for her song "Zjarr i Harruar", and again in 2008 for her song "Enderr e Etur".
In 2009, Evi was granted by the very same show the Television Award for her song "Jeton Tek Ti." A song created by Flori Mujamesi and its lyrics composed by the very talented journalist Fjodora Fjora.
In 2010 she developed her first video clip of the song "I Ngjan Asaj", a video created by Pro-Video Production. This was also the first duet with the famous singer and composer Flori Mumajesi, which soon became a success. In December 2010, Evi came out with her new-retro-song "Dhe Jemi Te Dy". It was composed by Flori Mumajesi and the video clip was produced by the remarkable crew of Entermedia, with guest stars the group Agronom. This video clip won the award of "Best Editing and Montage videoclip" after being nominated in two other categories including "Best Female Interpretation", and "Best Video Production".
Evi was also the singer of the theme song in the movie "Lover.S," an Italian production where she sang Francesco Traversi's "Whatever Dream".
After this performance, the Italian channel RAI TG1 dedicated Evi a video that presented her as one of the new artists to "keep an eye on".
Another video to keep an eye on is the song "Zhdukem Ngadale", by Flori Mumajesi. It was filmed in Florence, Italy; directed and scripted by Joni Baci Alizoti; with technical support by A50.
Since then, she continues to create other songs including the summer hit "Si Limonade" and the remake of her song "Jeton Tek Ti Remix" from Toronto's DJ Erjan, which clip was filmed in Florence as well.
Evi has been part of the Florentine radio "Radio Fleur" as a broadcaster, having her own music show called "World and Retro Music". She has graduated from the University of Florence with a BACHELOR degree in communication, Media, and Journalism and later a master on Communication and MUSICAL PERFORMANCES.
She has played the title role in Evita and Grizabella from Cats, both musicals written by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
In 2014 she was part of the popular dance show Dancing with the Stars 5, Albania where she won second place.
In 2016 she signed the contract with the music label 360MRECORDS based out of New York and she released the song "In My Room", which featured an electro-pop sound, a new style for her. Since 2016 she is part of Radio Fiesole as a radio broadcaster, together with Bruno Santini and Andrea Muzzi, and she collaborates as an art journalist with the well known Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
In 2017 Evi participated again in Kenga Magjike festival with the song "Dorezohu", written by Darko Dimitrov and Ylli Limani, a song with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sounds.
In 2019 she collaborated with the famous producer and singer of the hit 'Disco Partizani, SHANTEL, creating the song Si Margjelo, remaking the song Margjeloo in a dance version.
In 2019 and until nowadays, Evi started her daily TV SHOW at the national television VIZION PLUS, hosting the
VIZIONI I PASDITES'' show.
