Estrie
The Estrie is an administrative region of southern Quebec that mostly overlaps the Eastern Townships. Estrie, a French neologism, was coined as a derivative of est, "east".
The region has a land area of 10,212.00 km² and a population of 319,004 inhabitants as of the 2016 Census. Its largest population centre is the city of Sherbrooke. Estrie also has numerous natural parks.Demographics
