Enterprise & Data Center SSD Form Factor


The Enterprise & Data Center SSD Form Factor is a storage form factor for use in the data center that is being developed by the EDSFF Working Group. It is based on Intel's former Ruler SSD standard.

EDSFF SSDs are made in two sizes: E1.L and E1.S. Samsung's NF1 form factor competes with EDSFF, and both are meant to replace M.2 and U.2 drives in data center applications.
