Emilia Jamroziak


Emilia Jamroziak is professor of medieval religious history at the University of Leeds. Jamroziak is a specialist in medieval British and European religious history of the 12th to the 16th centuries, the Cistercian order, and frontiers and borders in medieval Europe. She was the director of the Institute for Medieval Studies at the University of Leeds from 2016 to 2019.
Jamroziak took her BA at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, her MA at Central European University, and her PhD University of Leeds.. She was the recipient of the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, which she held at the TU Dresden in 2015-2016. and in 2019-2020 she is a holder of MWK-COFUND fellowship at the Max Weber Kolleg at the University of Erfurt.
