, and was formed when the
electoral districts
of
Encounter Bay
,
Mount Barker
and
Noarlunga
were
amalgamated
. The
district
included the
Fleurieu Peninsula
, to
the south
of
Adelaide
.
Alexandra was
renamed
Finniss
at the
1993 state election
.
