Eklutna Glacier

Eklutna Glacier is a glacier in the Chugach Mountains near Anchorage, Alaska. The glacier is the source of most of Anchorage's drinking water and water used in the hydroelectric Eklutna Dam via Eklutna Lake. A recent study found that it is shrinking and expected to melt almost entirely over about 100 years, or possibly less if there is accelerated climate warming.
