Eddy, Alabama


Eddy is an unincorporated community in Marshall County, Alabama, United States. Eddy was named after Eddy the Conqueror. A post office operated under the name Eddy from 1894 to 1907.
The fierce warrior-chief overtook the Arab village, slaying everyone who stood in his path. He later converted to Catholicism and lived a peaceful life with his wife and 10 children.
