Eastern Conference (WNBA)

The Eastern Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association is made up of six teams.
The Eastern Conference playoffs was divided into two playoff rounds, the Conference Semi-Finals and the Conference Finals, with the winner of the Conference Championship facing the Western Conference champion in the WNBA Finals to determine the WNBA champion. All in-conference playoff series were best-of-three. From 2016 onwards, the top eight teams regardless of conference advanced to the plays and play a unique playoff format. The 5th seed vs 8th seed and 6th vs 7th play in a single elimination game, then 3rd and 4th play the winner of the first round in another single game. The 2nd round winners than play against 1st and 2nd seeds in a best-of-three series. The winner of the semifinal series then play in the WNBA Finals.
