Dundowran is a locality in the Fraser Coast Region, Queensland, Australia.

The name Dundowran might be derived from the Kabi language "thundarun" indicating plum tree, a reference to either the Burdekin plum or the Davidsons plum. However, it might also be named for the Queensland kauri pine.
