Dušan Drašković


Dušan Drašković is a Montenegrin former football manager and player. He is considered as one of the pioneers of modern football in Ecuador.

Career

During his playing career, Drašković played for Spartak Subotica, Vojvodina, Radnički Niš and Vrbas. He represented Yugoslavia at the 1971 Mediterranean Games, winning the gold medal.
In his early managerial career, Drašković served as manager of Vrbas, Vojvodina and Spartak Subotica, before leaving his homeland in 1988. Drašković managed Ecuador at the Copa América tournament in 1989, 1991 and 1993. At club level, Drašković was manager of a number of club sides in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Guatemala.
Drašković has also managed FK Vojvodina and FK Borac Banja Luka in former SFR Yugoslavia.
