Dolice, Gmina Dolice


Dolice is a village in Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Dolice. It lies approximately south-east of Stargard and south-east of the regional capital Szczecin.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
