Diospyros macrophylla


Diospyros macrophylla is a tree in the family Ebenaceae. It grows up to tall. Inflorescences bear up to 20 flowers. The fruits are round to oblong, up to in diameter. The specific epithet macrophylla is from the Greek meaning "large-leafed". Habitat is mixed dipterocarp forests from sea-level to altitude. D. macrophylla is found in Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines.
