Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host
The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host is an award presented annually by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
It was first awarded at the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, held on April 26, 2015 and it is given in honor of a talk show host that is in the informative nature.
The award replaced the more generic Outstanding Talk Show Host category, which in 2014 was split into two different categories: this award and Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment Host. As of the 2020 ceremony, Tamron Hall is the most recent winner in this category for her hosting duties in her self-titled syndicated talk show.Winners and nominees
