Daniel Palladino


Daniel Palladino is an American television producer, writer, and director. He serves as a producer of the animated sitcom Family Guy. He formerly worked on the television shows Gilmore Girls, The Return of Jezebel James, and Bunheads, all created by his wife, television writer and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino.

Career

A Los Angeles native of Italian ancestry, Palladino broke into television by writing two episodes of One Big Family, a one-season Danny Thomas sitcom. Later, he worked as a writer and co-producer on Who's The Boss. He also later joined the staff of Roseanne as a writer and producer.

Personal life

Palladino has an older sister, Susan. Daniel is married to Amy Sherman-Palladino with whom he frequently collaborates. He was raised in Reseda, California where he attended St. Catherine's of Sienna parish school, and then graduated from St. Genevieve High School in Van Nuys, California.

Nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Family Guy along with Seth MacFarlane, David Zuckerman, Craig Hoffman, Danny Smith, Billiam Coronel, Matt Weitzman, Mike Barker, Sherry Gunther, Gary Janetti, Pete Michels, Peter Shin, and Dan Povenmire in the "Outstanding Animated Program category for the episode "Road to Rhode Island" in the year 2000.
Won a Peabody Award for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel along with Amy Sherman-Palladino in the "Entertainment" category for its first season in 2017.
