Cylindrospermopsis
Cylindrospermopsis is a planktonic genus of filamentous cyanobacteria known for its blooms in eutrophic waters. The type species is the tropical Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii Seenayya & Subbaraju. The cyanotoxin cylindrospermopsin was first identified from a species of this genus.
