Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007

Before Eurovision

Dora 2007

Dora 2007 was the Croatian national selection which selected Croatia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.

Competing entries

Artists and composers were able to submit their entries to the broadcaster until 8 January 2007. An expert committee selected thirty-two artists and songs for the competition from the received submissions.

Semi-final 1

The first semi-final took place on 1 March 2007 at the Crystal Ballroom of the Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, hosted by Duško Ćurlić, Mirko Fodor, Iva Šulentić and Nikolina Pišek. Sixteen entries participated and eight advanced to the final. The qualifiers were determined based on the votes of televoting and an "expert" jury.

Semi-final 2

The second semi-final took place on 2 March 2007 at the Crystal Ballroom of the Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, hosted by Duško Curlic, Mirko Fodor, Barbara Štrbac and Iva Jerković. Sixteen entries participated and eight advanced to the final. The qualifiers were determined based on the votes of televoting and an "expert" jury.

Final

The final was held on 3 March 2007 in the Crystal Ballroom of Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, hosted by Duško Curlic, Mirko Fodor, Iva Šulentic, Barbara Štrbac, Iva Jerkovic and Nikolina Pišek. The winner was chosen by televoting and an "expert" jury.

At Eurovision

Because Croatia placed 12th at the 2006 contest, Dragonfly & Dado Topić were forced to compete in the Eurovision semi-final. They came 16th with 54 points, failing to qualify to the Grand Final.
