Cricket Russia

Cricket Russia is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Russia. Its current headquarters is in Moscow, Russia. In 2012, they were officially endorsed by the International Cricket Council as an Affiliate and are therefore entitled to participate in ICC Official events.
In July 2019, Russia's Ministry of Sport refused to recognise cricket as a sport. The sport can still be played in the country, but it is not eligible for any support from the Ministry. However, in May 2020, the Russian Government reversed its decision, recognising cricket as a sport, and therefore eligible for funding.

Grounds

Since 2004 all cricket matches have been held at two grounds: Moscow State University Baseball Stadium and the ISKRA Sports Complex. In 2013, the new Karacharova Ground in Moscow was opened.
