Crane Independent School District


Crane Independent School District is a public school district based in Crane, Texas. The district's boundaries parallel that of Crane County. In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

The district has three campuses -
Consistent with the school's name, the mascot is the Golden Crane.

Curriculum

The school board of Crane ISD was scheduled to adopt a new sex education curriculum on May 19, 2015 in response to a reported chlamydia outbreak at Crane High.

Activities

2013 marks the 31st year in a row the Crane High School Band has received Sweepstakes for attaining the highest rating in marching, sight reading and concert contests.
