Copper(II) phosphate
Copper phosphate is an inorganic compound consisting of copper cations and the phosphate anions; with the chemical formula Cu32. It may also be regarded as the cupric salt of phosphoric acid.
It is commonly encountered as the hydrated species Cu2OH, which is green and occurs naturally as the mineral libethenite. Anhydrous copper phosphate is blue with triclinic crystals and can be produced by a high-temperature reaction between diammonium phosphate and copper oxide.
