Connorville, Ohio


Connorville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.

History

Connorville originally had a coal mine employing 60 men. A post office called Connorville was established in 1899, and remained in operation until 1958. Besides the post office, Connorville had a country store.

Geography

Connorville is in southern Jefferson County, in the center of Warren Township. Ohio State Route 150 runs along the southern side of the community, leading east to Rayland and west to Dillonvale. Connorville is in the valley of Short Creek, which flows east to the Ohio River at Rayland.
