Citytv Bogotá
Citytv is a Colombian free-to-air television station headquartered in Bogotá. It is owned by the Casa Editorial El Tiempo, which publishes the main national Colombian daily newspaper El Tiempo, as well as other magazines such as Portafolio, Cambio, Motor, and Carrusel. CEET licenses the brand from Canadian media company Rogers Media, which owns Citytv. It started broadcasting on 19 March 1999 on analog UHF channel 21 in Bogotá.
Some programs from the original Canadian station are broadcast for a local audience, while others, like FashionTelevision or SexTV are dubbed versions. It also follows the philosophy of the original Citytv: at its news shows anchors read the news standing up from various parts of the studio / newsroom.
Citytv Bogota publishes its own material to the video sharing website Citytv.com.co, which serves as the station's main website.
After Pope Francis' arrival to Colombia in 2017, the Channel took an almost exclusive approach to journalism.
