Chuck Neubauer


Chuck Neubauer is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.

Education

He received his M.S. degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 1973.

Career

He worked as an investigator for the non-profit Better Government Association. He then worked as a reporter at Chicago Today, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Times.
While at the Chicago Tribune, Neubauer shared the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Local Investigative Specialized Reporting for a series about abuses in Federal Housing Administration programs. He also investigated the political dealings of Chicago's Dan Rostenkowski in the 1990s. His stories have been used as evidence in Senate and House investigations.
