Christian Rub


Christian Rub was an Austrian-born American character actor known for his work in films of the late 1910s to the early 1950s, and was featured in more than 100 movies.
He was born in Graz, in the Austrian Empire. His first appearance was in the 1919 movie The Belle of New York. Rub was the visual basis and voice of Mister Geppetto in the animated Disney film Pinocchio, Rub appeared in his last movie, Something for the Birds, as Leo. He died in Santa Barbara, California just one day after his 70th birthday.
