Choi Heong Yuen Bakery


Choi Heong Yuen Bakery is one of Macau's best-known bakery chains, specializing in traditional pastries, particularly the almond cookie. The chain was founded in 1935 by a Macanese immigrant from Zhongshan named after the homonymic Ju Xiang Yuan Food in Zhongshan but now an independent business.
As the name Choi Heong Yuen is registered in Macau and Hong Kong while the name Ju Xiang Yuan is registered in mainland China, Choi Heong Yuen runs as the Fifth Day of the Tenth Month Bakery in mainland China.
