Chloé Paquet


Chloé Paquet is a French professional female tennis player. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world no. 145 and a career-high WTA doubles ranking of world no. 247.

Career

2010-2016

Paquet made her ITF Women's Circuit debut at the $10,000 tournament held in March 2010 in Gonesse, France; she only played the tournament's singles event, losing in the second qualifying round. She played five tournaments on the 2010 ITF Women's Circuit.
She made her WTA Tour singles debut at the WTA Premier 2011 Open GDF Suez; as a wild card, she lost in the first qualifying round to Michaela Pochabová.
Paquet made her Grand Slam women's doubles debut at the 2014 French Open; she and her partner Alix Collombon had received a wild card for the women's doubles main draw and they lost in the first round to the third-seeded Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
Her Grand Slam singles debut came at the 2015 French Open after receiving a singles qualifying wild card; in the singles qualifying event, she defeated her compatriot Lou Brouleau in the first round before losing to Paula Kania in the second round.
Paquet made her WTA Tour singles main-draw debut at the 2016 Copa Colsanitas after winning two qualifying matches; she lost in the first round of the main draw to Anne Schäfer.

2017

At the 2017 Abierto Mexicano Telcel, Paquet played just her second career WTA Tour singles main-draw match; after winning two qualifying matches, she lost in the first round of the main draw to number seven seed Lesia Tsurenko. Paquet made her Grand Slam singles main-draw debut at the 2017 French Open after receiving a singles main-draw wild card. Coming into that tournament ranked only 260th in the world in the WTA singles rankings, she upset 44th-ranked Kristýna Plíšková in the first round before losing to number 28 seed Caroline Garcia in the second round. Paquet's win over Plíšková was the first WTA Tour singles main-draw win of her career.
